This Spring break I went to Borakay(Philippines). It was amazing! Now I want to share a few of my adventures with you. I hope you enjoy!
Sailing
My mom wanted to go sailing but we never got round to it. One day we actually went! It was so fun! When I got to the boat it wasn’t what I expected.
It was a tiny little thing. It was thin but long. At the sides it had two poles on each side of the boat. In-between each pole was a wiry net. The net was formed of tiny little diamonds. When the boat was going fast we would get soaked!
It was also fun because the boat would tilt a little bit on its side.
It would feel like we were going to fall off! Me and Michelle were trying to splash each other. I leaned forward so that my feet would touch the water. It splashed my Dad next to my sister.
Puka Shell Beach
After riding the sail boat we stopped at Puka Shell Beach. The waves were humongous. Me and my sister were playing a game where we had to stay in the same spot without falling over (you can choose if you want to sit down facing the waves, stand up or sit down the opposite way of the waves).
I fell over so much. When I would fall over it’s like you are super glued to the ground! I could not get up! Waves kept rushing over my head. It was so awesome.
Parasailing
This vacation I went parasailing for the first time ever ( I went twice in Boracay). My brother persuaded me to parasail.
Parasailing was one of my favorite highlights of the vacation. The parasail balloon was rainbow coloured with the superman logo on it.
When I was parasailing at the end the guy that was working the parasail glided us (me, my sister and Daniel) in the water. It was the best!
