A leading academic has suggested that computer games provide children with some of the best ways to learn and they should be introduced in schools, the Daily Express reports. Far from stunting the intellectual development of children, games can encourage them to learn and provide them with a genuine sense of achievement, he said. Professor James Gee, of Arizona State University, said schools and parents were ignoring the huge educational benefits that computer games can provide. Even mathematics could be taught through playing popular video games, he said.
